Lifepro DynaMini First Impressions
Unboxing the DynaMini was a rare surprise for us. Anymore, it’s not often that we find ourselves genuinely “wowed”, if you will. But in this case, that’s exactly how we felt.
Let’s start by talking about that deep blue carrying case. We gotta hand it to LifePro, but the carrying case gets some serious style points compared to everything else we’ve seen out there. For the very first time ever and as silly as it may sound, the carrying case impressed us. Of course it’s small, but the textured blue exterior and brown leather strap exude a certain amount of upscale chic.
Unzipping the case, the thrill continues. The exterior of the LifePro DynaMini is simply fantastic. From the smooth, all-metal design to the anodized finish, the DynaMini is a stunner to behold. And given its tiny footprint, it fits in the hand perfectly with an amazing grip.
Are we gushing a little too much? We might be, but we really appreciate the thoughtful, clean, simple design of this massage gun.
Unless it suffers a complete battery meltdown from the inside, we fully expect the DynaMini to hold up very well.
Specs and Performance
All that said, we are pleased to tell you the DynaMini is not all beauty no braun. In fact, we think you will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of power the DynaMini churns out. There’s nothing “mini” about it.
The DynaMini has four different speed settings all having different frequencies(Hz) and revolutions per minute(RPM), meaning how many times it makes contact to the muscles within a minute. The speeds are as follows:
- 1: 15 Hz 900 RPM
- 2: 30 Hz 1800 RPM
- 3: 45 Hz 2600 RPM
- 4: 50Hz 3200 RPM
Those specs actually bring it in line with similar massage guns like the Medcursor or Apollo Kinetics.
By now you might have noticed how the word “small” has been repeatedly mentioned, so just how small is it really? The DynaMini measures 142 x 90 x 44mm. To put that into perspective, the Galaxy S10 it’s sitting next to measures 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm!
Of course with any size reduction, you’re going to shed some weight too. Barely registering on the scales at 1.6lbs, the DynaMini is lightweight, but still maintains a sense of being high-quality
Massage Heads
Like almost all massage guns, you will find four different massage heads to help improve your massage and recovery experience.
First is the classic “Flat” head. The flat head is most commonly used for muscles needing a deep massage or places that just need more help loosening those muscle knots.
The second head you will find is the “Round”,(a.k.a. the ball). This head is perfect for reducing soreness in the muscles and enhancing the recovery process. Also perfect to just help loosen your muscles to provide you with the amazing feeling of relaxation after a hard workout.
Next we have the “Spinal” or “Fork” head. Most commonly used for the back, the fork head is great at loosening those back muscles and improving range of motion within the vertebrae. The fork head has soft silicone tips to provide the most comfort possible when massaging the areas around the spine. The last thing you want is to further exacerbate the pain in that area.
Finally we have the “Bullet” head. Also equipped with a soft silicone tip, the bullet is used to target specific areas such as muscle knots or to dig in even deeper if the flat head doesn’t quite do the trick.
Battery
Being as small as it is, you might be wondering how long the battery life will last. Well, this small yet powerful massager can last anywhere from 3-4 hours at constant high speeds or 5-6 hours on the lower settings.
Somehow they managed to cram a 2500 mAh lithium battery inside the DynaMini. Compare that to the 2000 mAh battery found in the DynaSphere and you have yourself a serious amount of battery power.
Perhaps our favorite feature is the inclusion of a USB-C port for charging. USB-C has become a standard for most electronics, eliminating the need for yet another cable. It’s nice to have the ability to charge the DynaMini not just from a wall outlet, but anywhere a USB plug is available.

Who The DynaMini For?
We think the DynaMini is the perfect massage gun IF you manage your expectations. Similar to our commentary on the Relxbit Mini, you will be sorely disappointed buying the DynaMini if you’re expecting it to rival a $400 Theragun Elite. Due to its size, matching its percussive power is a physical impossibility.
Not to worry, however, the DynaMini is still plenty powerful. If you understand and are willing to accept that small compromise, you will absolutely fall in love with this massage gun.

Finally to answer the question, “Will it fit my massage gun needs?” and “Is it worth it?”
Overall, we have nothing but positive accolades for the DynaMini. Yes, it might not be as powerful as some other competitors but it will still deliver just enough punch to fulfill your needs. But to emphasize, you shouldn’t necessarily buy it for that. You will buy a LifePro DynaMini because it has amazing battery life and you can easily carry it with you anywhere you go. It’s portable. It’s lightweight. For those reasons, you will be much more apt to using it and isn’t that enough reason to buy?
